1 month.

Leia is 1 month old today!

And we have reached a milestone! Today she has accepted a pacifier!! :) She has done very well today with sucking on it, so we are very relieved - this should make things a little easier. She does have a little problem keeping it in her mouth. But Mormor and Morfar have sent a very different type of pacifier from the US (it is longer and narrower than regular pacifiers - very much like the nipple from a bottle), so we hope this will be easier for her to keep in her mouth. And we hope to receive that any day now. :)

And we think that her tummy is doing better, and we are determined that it was because of my antibiotics.

She slept very, very well last night. She slept a 5 hour stretch and then 2½ hours. And then off and on during the rest of the night. And she slept a 3 hour stretch today during the day. This evening when she fell asleep - I let her fall asleep on her own. I fed her, and she was still awake, and I laid her in my lap and gave her the pacifier and let her lay there until she fell asleep on her own.. without rocking her or without her sucking on my finger - so, we hope to put that more into practice, so she learns better to fall asleep on her own.

But since she slept great last night, and also well during the day today, we are expecting her to be up all night.. :/ :))

Fredrik got to take Leia on a walk today. And since I got a great nights sleep last night, I was able to take the time to straighten the house up a little.

And Caesar was returned to us today. :) Farmor and Farfar dropped him off on their way back home. So, we hope he is happy to be back. :)
