Happy Father's Day, Pappa!!!

Today is Father's Day in Sweden! Fredrik's first Father's Day. :)

We were right, though! :/ :) Leia slept so well on Friday night and yesterday during the day, that she didn't have a good night last night. :/ But once again - it isn't that she can't fall asleep - it was her tummy bothering her.

I stayed up with her most of the night, and then this morning, after I had breakfast, Fredrik took overy "baby duty" and I got in a nice nap.

So, good days mixed with bad days. :/ :) Just the way it is! (Have to be positive or I'll go insane!!!!!) :D

We also woke up to a "very nice surprise" this morning - the pellet burner stopped working - completely.. :/ A couple of days ago - it was still on, but not running. Now it was completely shut off.. :/ But Fredrik cut up some wood and started burning it inside, and it jumped the water temperature up some, so that it wouldn't get so cold in the house (it was already 17ºC in the house (62ºF)), so it is a bit cold.. :/

He called the pellet machine company, a cell phone, and the guy answered and he said he was working on pipes in his own house, and that he would run over and take a look at everything - which was super-nice! Not common (not possible) to get help like that on the weekend, especially a Sunday, in Sweden. So, we have been waiting for awhile for him to show up, but we are just happy that he is willing to come over at all!

We are curious as to what is going on with the pellet burner, and it makes us have a little anxiety about leaving for a couple of days, to come back to a cold house and frozen kitty.. :/ :) if it decides to stop working again.

We still aren't sure when we are going to be leaving.. :/ Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning.. :/ We will probably decide on Monday, if Fredrik can sneak away from work early or not. We don't want to travel TOO far in the dark, and it gets dark so early.. so.. we'll have to wait until tomorrow to decide.. :/

Fredrik has banned me from watching "Where Eagles Dare" for awhile.. :/ :) I was watching it pretty much non-stop.. :D And then it ended up being on TV last night.. :D

Hmmm...

Leia and I couldn't do much for Fredrik's first Father's Day.. :) But we got him some yummy chocolates that we think he would like, and a movie, of course, with Christian Bale as a young boy, that he has been wanting to watch for a long time now, "Empire of the Sun." :) We've only seen bits and pieces, but it is a very good movie.

But now it is feeding time for Leia.. :/ :) and time to curl up on the couch and try to keep warm.. :/ :)
