Heja DIF!

False hope in these pictures that Leia has taken to a pacifier.. :/ :) She sucked on it for about ½ an hour and napped, but that was the only nap that she has taken today.. :/ And the only time she accepted the pacifier.. :/ :)




Leia is still growing like crazy.. :/ :)

We (Leia and I) spent 40 min at the BVC talking with Leia's nurse. Just about how she is doing and her strange (non)sleeping habits. And she is certain that it is milk that might be upsetting her stomach, so I have to go 5 days of religiously giving up all milk products or anything made with milk in it. And we are continuing with the bacteria-drops for her intestines.

I think Leia is tying to make a World Record by the baby that has gone the longest without sleeping.. :/ :)) (I got 2 hours of sleep last night!!)

But the nurse couldn't get over how alert she is and how good her eye contact is.

Leia gained 265 grams (or ½ pound) this last week, so she is up to 3875 grams (or 8½ pounds). (She has gained 835 grams (1½ pounds) in 4 weeks.)

She went up 1 cm in length (now at 54,5cm or 21½ in).

Fredrik measured in Nössemark at the sawmill with a 15 year old boy following him around. :) Fredrik just fixed us dinner and he is now changing Leia's diaper, and then it is feeding time for Leia. We are supposed to go 2-3 hours between feedings now, no sooner inbtwn than that. Which Leia is NOT happy about.. :/ I think that is one of the reasons she has gotten so clingy the last few days. She won't sleep unless being held and she cries like mad unless she is held.. :/

Some times it can feel so hopeless.. :/ But reading on the Internet about other people with the same exact issues is always a saving grace of sanity.. :/ :)
