New Year's Eve.

Leia has been a booger lately... :/ :)

She is doing fine with her fever. But we're still not sure if she had the fever because of the cold or because she is teething.

For the last two nights and days, she wants to be held constantly, and cries very easily. But she laughs and smiles and talks and all that.. So, we're not sure what she is trying to accomplish. :/ :) Fredrik and I think it is a growth thing. That she is going through a growth spurt (like that of earlier, when we had such a difficult time getting her to sleep and she cried all the time). It is easy to get her to sleep, but you have to hold her and not move her at all, and then she will sleep. She isn't sleeping very deeply. And she is constantly tired and wanting to sleep.

Yesterday during the day, Mormor held her for a long time, in the same position, and they napped together, to get Leia a long stretch of sleep. And we knew that Leia would not lay by herself last night, so Morfar stayed up with her all night, and held her during the night, while she slept. Fredrik and I really, really needed to get a full nights sleep. And we feel so much better this morning. We put so much effort into helping Leia feel better from her cold, that ours is taking forever to go away. We are feeling better, though. Fredrik's back hurts, but that is from having slept in a different bed for the last month. And I have had an upset tummy since yesterday afternoon. But besides that, I think we are doing much better.

There aren't that many fireworks that are legal in the US. Each State has their own laws and regulations about fireworks. And Ohio isn't one of the ones where you can get the big ones that explode in the sky. But there are always a few neighbors that bring them in from other States, and set them off anyways. :/ :)) In Sweden, I think most everything is legal in regards to fireworks.

Our goal today is to just make Leia lay by herself (in the baby gym, etc) as much as possible, even if we have to hover over her so that she feels content, so she can get away from her clingy-ness, so that she can hopefully start to sleep in her bed again. While she was sick, we held her so much, and she got used to that. But we think that because of teething or from a growth spurt that she is.. behaving a little differently. :)

But we are all doing well, on the road to recovery from all of our illnesses.. :)) It is that time of the year, though, when everyone gets sick, and there are probably going to be 20 more colds in our household now before Winter is done. :/ :)

Mormor and Morfar are soon going to the store to do some shopping for New Years and then I think Fredrik and I might try to go to the movies, to see a new movie with Johnny Depp. We'll see how we feel. :/ :))

We've almost got another box packed. And we've packed one more suitcase. We think we are going to borrow a suitcase from Mormor and Morfar, and then they can take it back with them when they come visit us this summer. (Even if it is a small suitcase.) We managed to get the vibrating chair in the box we are shipping, so that saves a lot of hassle.

Okay, now it is time to get ready and let Fredrik eat some breakfast.. :P
