Daytime naps.

So, we're able to get Leia to sleep during the day on a regular basis. :) We see this as a great acheivement. :)) Yesterday she slept from 8-11. She was tired for an afternoon nap, but it was impossible to get her to sleep again.. :/ I got her to sleep for 20 minutes in my arms, but she just wants to be awake or with her mommy. :/ :) Which I find very flattering, but Baby needs to sleep, too. :)

She is still sleeping well through the night. :) Although, of course, we wish it was in one stretch.. :/ :) And she is still a little off with her timing. :/ She went to sleep at 6 and got up at 9 for a feeding, and slept from 9.30 until 2 this morning, and went back down and slept a couple more hours. So she slept about 11 hours during the evening and night. But we still wish that we could push the time back a little more. :/ And we are anxiously awaiting for the mid-night snack to disappear so that we can all sleep a longer stretch. :) We'll see if that ever happens.. :P

This morning she didn't take a nap, but now she is sleeping. :) Has been sleeping for 1½ hours now, so maybe she will get to go to sleep a little later this evening.

Fredrik thinks it is silly to try to get her on a routine now.. :/ With our leaving and having a time change.. :) So, while we are with Mormor and Morfar, we are going to work religiously on getting her scheduled, and then continue with that when we come home. :) Mormor and Morfar are retired, so they can help us continuously through the day and night in keeping her scheduled. :)

One of the window guys showed up about 10 minutes ago and he is working on some stuff. We doubt it will take very long. :)

Fredrik was able to stay home this morning. He had a dentist appointment and then he had a meeting in Åmål with a project that he has been working on here in town. He met up with the commune people for a little talk and to hand them a hard copy print-out of the mapping he did for some new houses. Tomorrow he has a meeting in Lilla Edet, which is a good drive away, south of the town where I gave birth. But the meeting ends at 15.00, so hopefully he will still be able to get home around the same time as normal (17.00). Fredrik is sad because he barely gets any time with Leia in the evenings before she goes to bed. :( But he does get up in the mornings a couple of hours before he has to go to work, and he has "baby-duty" then and gets to spend some time with her. :) So, I know he is looking forward to his month off to spend some time with his Little Girl. :) (My nickname for her is "Pumpkin" - not sure if Pappa has a nickname for her yet.) :)

And Get Well wishes to Leia's cousin Kalle, who is having surgery today!
