Poor Leia.. :/

Leia is having a horrible time sleeping.. :/
And if Leia doesn't sleep, then I don't sleep.. :/

I was up with her since 2 this morning. It is her tummy.. :/

It isn't a problem for her to fall asleep, but she doesn't stay asleep. :( Soon after she is laid down, she starts moving her arms and pumping her legs because of gas.. and then she wakes up of course.

The only comforting thing for her when it is worse, is to just hold her tight ... I think she likes that. There is nothing else I can do for her.. :/ I rub her belly and pump her legs.. and rub and pat her back, but there isn't much else I can do.. :/ When she is held tight, then she can't move her limbs as much, and I think it is easier for her to relax then.

So, neither she or I have gotten much sleep in.. then last 16 hours or so.. :/
Fredrik came home 2 hours early today to try to give some help.
And her favorite blanket is in the wash, so that doesn't help anything.. :/ (Yes, she is 3 weeks old and has a favorite blanket already..!)

I did manage to get her to fall asleep once today, at 1PM. I put in Superman, a long movie that I could sit and listen to (not knowing how long I would be sitting in the same spot), and I got in the couch and held her tight, and she fell asleep and slept for 3 hours. And I think I slept for 1½-2 hours or something like that. But even though she is sleeping, it is difficult to know the quality of sleep, because of how she feels.. :/

Me not getting sleep doesn't really bother me that much, it is that I know she is sooooo tired now that she can't sleep. :/ She had 2 really good poos today, and after the first one, she was so exhausted and pushed so hard to poo that she fell asleep right afterwards.. :/ And unfortunately I had to wake her up to clean up the big mess.. :/

I know my antibiotics aren't helping, and unfortuantely I have 2 more days left after today. :( I am going to try to cut out as much dairy products as possible for awhile and see if that helps her. When I was little, I know I had a milk allergy, so maybe my diary products are irritating her tummy.. :/

And Caesar is gone.. :( :)
He is at Aina's house. We are still hoping that it will work with him staying with her while we are gone in December, but she wanted to have a trial-run and make sure that he feels comfortable there.. So he is spending this week with her. :) And we miss him. :(

And Fredrik is sad and annoyed that he can't be here more to help out. :( He hates having to go to work now and after the weekend it is worse.. :/ So, we are going to be fixing his pappa-leave time so that he can be at home a little more. I was thinking a Wednesday, to have a day in the middle of the week with help, but he really wants a Friday or Monday, to make a longer weekend - so I suggested Monday, since he gets plenty of Fridays off anyways. (Which would often make for a 4 day weekend.)

So, we have no kitty, and an unhappy baby tummy, a daddy that has to go far away to Strömstad tomorrow, and a mommy that can't get any sleep.. :/ :)
