Poor Caesar.

We bought a baby gym yesterday. We put it together and put it on the floor in the office/guest room. Caesar thinks it is for him. :( He was on the couch with us last night while we were watching a movie, and he jumped off and went and laid down in the baby gym (it is a very nice, soft material) and he curled up to sleep.. :/ So, we've been having to keep him out of it and trying to teach him that it isn't his. :( I told Fredrik we should buy a cheap, small one for him - so that he doesn't feel left out, but Fredrik refuses. :/ :)) Said that we can just put a small blanket beside it on the floor, and that can be his spot.

We are going to take a cheap receiving blanket to the hospital and keep baby wrapped in it. And then Fredrik will have to come home some time to check on the cat, etc .. and then give the blanket to Caesar, and then it can be his. That way, Caesar can smell the baby before it comes home and the smell won't be new. And he loves blankets, so he can use that then to lay on around the house. :)

It was very pitiful, though, to make him get out of the baby gym, because of course he doesn't understand why. :/

We have finished the baby's room! :) As much as we can. :) We are missing half a curtain, which is in the US, on its way. And we have to get the protection-thing for the radiator (so baby doesn't burn its fingers when exploring the room). But other than those 2 things, I think we are ready for Baby to come home. :)

Looks like we've made it through the weekend without an appearance.. :P

The weather the last couple of days has been beautiful! Exactly why Fall is my favorite time of the year. The sun is out and the sky is clear, and a nice cool breeze. Wonderful smell of leaves. :) I'm really going to enjoy our walks with the stroller. :)
