Now it is October 1st - we made it into October.. :/ :) We were hoping Karl-Astrid would show up before October did.
I'm quite certain that Baby has dropped now.. :/ Hopefully the Midwife can comfirm at tomorrows appointment. But I am definitely certain that baby is facing the correct way, with back pointing outwards, because of how different the movements feel than before. I feel more.. vibrations of movements, than actual movements - instead of direct punches to my side, etc...
Yesterday I baked 4 medium sized quiches to put in the freezer. And right now I am baking 2 banana-nut bread loaves to also throw in the freezer... Hmmm.. might save a little to eat and throw the rest in the freezer.. ;)
Hope to make some more quiche, though, up until the time when Karl-Astrid decides to show up. It is easy and yummy to reheat after unthawing, and it is easy and yummy for Fredrik to take to work for lunch, too. And Fredrik has been buying up freezer food like mad to put in our new freezer. :) We want to make sure we have plenty to munch on because we aren't going to be interested in cooking for awhile. :) I think we will be more interested in getting settled in at home and getting to know our new family member. :)
I am a bit scared I think.. :/ :)
I've taken care of loads of children and babies ... but this one is ours.. It is a little different.. :/ :)
Slightly scared of how the delivery will go - but I'm not a softy - I have a very high tolerance of pain, so I think I should be okay with that.. (I hope)..
Maybe I am a bit more anxious and anxiety ridden about after we come home - with all the paperwork, etc, to get done for Baby's passport. The Swedish passport won't take very long (a week or two), but the American one is a different story..
And then I remember that I have to get MY Swedish passport as well, and I still have to change my name on my Social Security Card. :/ And I can't send my passport for that because I have to have my passport for when we do everything for the Baby, and so I have to use my Swedish ID card, but I need that to get my Swedish passport, so .... Everything is just one big circle.. :/ :)
So, maybe all that is what I am more scared about than Karl-Astrid showing up.. :))))
Caesar is giving one of his toys to Karl-Astrid..! :)
He has a little stuffed dolphin that we bought for him at Kolmården (a zoo outside of Norrköping), and he likes it plenty, but he thinks that Karl-Astrid would like it, too. :)
He is being a very nice big-brother. :)
I have a feeling Caesar is going to like playing with Karl-Astrids little toes.. :/ :) A perfect size, and they are going to wiggle and move a lot.. Going to be very tempting for Caesar.. :/ :)
We hope to go to Karlstad this weekend, and pick up the stroller, buy a few other things, and go to IKEA (they opened an IKEA there this past August). And get a few other building supply things needed for the Baby's room. But that is of course only if they have our stroller .. :/ Which they should, since they said it would be in in the end of September.
Blahblahblah...
Time to check on the bread and clean the bathrooms.. :P
