Barnmorska.

A great midwife appointment today!

While waiting to see the midwife, one of our parent-group couples walked through, and they were supposed to have theirs a long time ago, so I know she is very frustrated. :)) She is very anxiety ridden about delivery. She is enormous, too - looks like she is having 10 full sized babies. :D

The Midwife was very chit-chatty and was very interested if any contractions had started yet.
I think she is certain that they have lightly started, but of course will progress until Baby decides to come out.

Still a bit of protein in my urine, but the same as before, no more .. so she wasn't worried about that at all.

Blood pressure was 120/65, even with a slight headache. So that was good.
She didn't take glucose or hemoglobin (iron), because it has been so good throughout the pregnancy, she didn't see it necessary. :)

Baby's heartbeat was between 145-155. Closer to 150's.
She listened for a long time, and it was worrying me a little that she was listening so much, and turned it up even (the sound), but she said it sounded really, really good (the heartbeat), that you could hear the blood and all that. So, that was nice to hear. :)

When I laid down on the table for her to feel my belly, she commented on how cone shaped my tummy was, and was certain that some contractions have started, with how baby was situated. Especially considering my pelvic pain and very low back pain that I've been having.

Not sure she thinks we will make it to the next appointment on October 12th. :) She took some info, like how I generally thought my pregnancy had gone, and any special wishes for the hospital for delivery time. I said that my only want is to have at least one person that was okay with English to come around and say "hi." :/ :) (A nurse or something.) Because of course I can understand everything, but at that time, I told her I might not necessarily feel like speaking in Swedish. :/ :) I said that I might want to scream obscenities in English instead of Swedish.. :/ :))))

After the appointment we went into "town" and Fredrik bought a new winter jacket (a birthday present from Mamma and Pappa). And we went to a store, where Fredrik thought that they might have some baby clothes! They had a bit of really nice women's clothes, and tons of baby clothes! :) Some Laban clothes for Fredrik and Tummen clothes for me. :)) (Although that stuff is pretty expensive.) :/ :) But the clothes are adorable, and so it is nice knowing that there IS a place in town to buy some baby clothes (although nicer clothes - not the every-day-throw-up-and-poop-on clothes). :)) But Fredrik bought the baby a little outfit. :)) A Halloween outfit. :) I will get some pictures up! It is black of course, they had a pink set, but pink isn't Halloween.. :/ Even if it is for a girl.. :/ Not allowed to have pink at Halloween.. :/ :)) We weren't sure on size, so we got a newborn (56). But we figured that if baby is a couple of weeks late, than a newborn would fit okay by the end of October. And we think the baby is going to be small anyways (even the GYN at 6 weeks said it would be a small baby), so even if it shows up early, we still think a 56 will fit.

It is absolutely adorable, though. :)

Blah blah blah.. :)
