Sedated kitty.

A very sedated little kitty. :))

We are very certain that he is going to feel much, much better.

We got to the vet at 18.00 and she started working right away. She said his bladder was the size of a tennis ball. :( No wonder he couldn't walk.

Fredrik and I got to help out. :) She had to do everything then and there and we were able (obviously) to bring him home.

There was a lot of blood and urine. :( And the stones must have been tiny but clumped together because she couldn't find a single stone. It was an unbelievable amount of stuff in him. :(

It took 1½ hours and I was starving when we left. So we got something at McDonald's to bring home. Now Caesar is sleeping in his pee-paded box in the bathroom, next to his litter box. He could wake up within 6-12 hours.

When we were leaving a dog was coming in that had eaten rat poison! Ooops.. :/ :)

So, we will run to the pharmacy tomorrow morning and fill his prescription and then head to the summerhouse, with what we are sure is to be a happier kitty. :)) She said there was a lot of infection, but nothing unusal, and she was leaving a sample out to see if bacteria starts to grow.

I'll post something in the morning and report how he is doing. :)
